Four in a row

Game Introduction
Four in a Row is a connection based game very popular worldwide.
The players have to drop a disc in turns of their chosen color onto a vertical six-by-seven grid.

Game objective and rules
The objective of the game 4 in a Row (Connect four) is to connect four discs of the same color in any of the following three ways:

-Vertically
-Horizontally
-By diagonal

When a disc is placed, the only way to stop the formation of lines is with a disc of another color.

Connect 4 can be played in different variations. The number of pieces needed to make a line may vary. Some versions require a larger grid, which allows the connection of five or even six pieces.
